About Me

For nearly 20 years, I’ve been a writer and proofreader helping businesses and individuals distill complex information into easily understandable prose that leads to one goal: clear communication. Clients know they can rely on me for my clean, concise writing style and my knack for editing the work of others.

My specialties include work as a marketing writer in the financial services and IT sectors and as a writer on parenting, health and wellness for a variety of clients. Some of those clients have included major banks and marketing firms as well as the online arms of Prevention magazine and the What to Expect family of pregnancy and parenting books. I began my career in London as a proofreader and copy editor for Anness Publishing Ltd and recently refreshed my proofreading skills with a course through the Publishing Training Centre, London.

I’m also known for my writing on grief and loss, with essays featured in the anthology They Were Still Born: Personal Stories About Stillbirth (Rowman & Littlefield, 2010), Compassionate Friends magazine (We Need Not Walk Alone), Babies Remembered, and the forthcoming anthology from Hope Paige Designs, When There is Nothing to Say.
